There is something wrong about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Yes, they are abstract from our collective subjective reality, but it’s more than that. There is a deep psychological incompatibility that is woven into our world view. The sheer disbelief that UFOs or UAP represent anything anomalous is paramount for a sceptical position. Additionally, we can argue that despite the recent mainstream credibility, the sceptical position on UFOs is happily accepted without question by the majority of society. But why?
Why can some people so easily accept the UAP reality whilst others turn into a pseudo-mess of hodge-podge debunking and sweating equations? People point to the government and the efforts to keep UFOs secret, but it feels like more than that. The secrecy feels more like a mass psychological reaction to a terrible truth that we simply cannot process.
The truth is that I’m not even sure what the truth is. UAP are reported by civilians and military pilots the world over, that much is true, but other than that I can’t say with confidence what they are or where they are from. What we do know, is the the idea of ‘Space-Aliens’ is rejected at every opportunity, almost as though it is an unspoken shame that we all know about on some level.
The danger posed by dogmatic, biased UAP “debunkers” is that they offer “quick, snappy” explanations to government analysts under extraordinary pressure to resolve challenging cases.

It seems that without direct testimony and videos of genuinely anomalous technology, the world will continue as it always has done. Debunkers and their incredibly ridiculous claims will be automatically believed over Navy Pilot squadrons and Congressional Oversight Committees. The world will itself cover-up the significance of the phenomenon and relieve the growing cognitive dissonance. Flying Discs become camera glare, forty-foot-long tic-tacs become Seagulls and Cubes become radar reflectors. Anything else is either Chinese Drones or Air-Trash.
While I don’t doubt their are insidious Department of Defense (DoD) affiliated parties who attempt to manipulate and influence mainstream politicians and journalists, it is us, the people, who are responsible for the secrecy. The anomalous data has been there for 75 years and we don’t want to see it for what it might be.
Ultimately, we need to make a decision. Congress need to make a decision and place UAP above everything else. This topic is potentially the most important issue in human history and needs to be treated as such. The alternative is that the world will assign the issue to the fringe once again.
And the world will do so happily.
